Cometary activity search via comparison of multi-aperture photometry

Summary: identify new or known moving objects (potentially filtered by specific orbital parameters, observational circumstances, physical properties, or family membership) for which the ratio of flux measured for a larger aperture and flux measured for a smaller aperture (i.e., a larger aperture able to capture more extended emission and a smaller central aperture) is larger than the equivalent photometry ratio measured for local field stars, and flag as potentially exhibiting cometary activity
